Nick: Chiefs 37, 49ers 17
The Chiefs relish the underdog role, and on Sunday, they'll face a gritty 49ers team. The key for San Francisco will be how Brock Purdy handles Kansas City's relentless defense. However, none of that matters because the Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes. Ultimately, his experience will lead Kansas City to their second consecutive Lombardi Trophy.
Emily: Chiefs 23, 49ers 17
With both teams being equal on paper, this is going to be a lower-scoring Super Bowl than people expect. The Chiefs seem to be finding ways to win, whether it's through safe, smart football or black magic. 2020 may be repeating itself.

Tyler: 49ers 27, Chiefs 24
It will take a lot to stop Mahomes and company in this game, but if any team has the talent to do so, it’s the 49ers. With all the offensive weapons surrounding Brock Purdy and the defensive playmakers they possess, the 49ers are ultimately able to step up to the task in the biggest moments, earning a close win against the reigning champions.
James: 49ers 27, Chiefs 23
Four years ago, we saw the Chiefs arrive against the 49ers in a Super Bowl as the team everyone wanted to win. Here, they’re the villains. On the field, while Kansas City’s defense has carried them this far, San Francisco’s No. 2 offense—led by Brock Purdy, who can complete a story as good as Kurt Warner’s was back in the day—and Christian McCaffrey, will finally get the monkey off Kyle Shanahan’s back.
Liz: Chiefs 31, 49ers 27
I believe it will be a close game. The Chiefs' defense will limit the 49ers' ability to make big plays on offense, which will in turn allow the offense for the Chiefs to do what it always does. The game is going to be better than what most people think. I know they believe it’s going to just be a variation of Super Bowl 54. However, it is going to be a matter of who wants the win more, and I believe the Chiefs want it more.
Francesco: 49ers 23, Chiefs 20
The Niners were my outright pick to start the year so I’ll be biting the bullet and riding this one out. While nothing about the Niners' recent performances instills any confidence in me, I believe they’ll pull one out in a revenge game from the 2020 Super Bowl. Offensively, I’m going to trust Kyle Shanahan running the ball with Offensive Player of the Year Christian McCaffrey, which should set up one-on-ones down the field for the team's weapons. Defensively, the Niners must shut down Mahomes' first read (Travis Kelce) and get pressure against a weakened Chiefs offensive line. I believe they have the talent to win this game and will be highly motivated.

Brendan: 49ers 28, Chiefs 20
Nick Bosa will be frequently lined up against the Chiefs’ weakest spot — their right tackle. The pressure will be the first to have Mahomes make mistakes Sunday and help lead the 49ers to a victory.
Andersen: Chiefs 27, 49ers 17
Given that the spread is currently set at 47.5 points, I'm expecting a lower-scoring affair. At one point this season, the 49ers looked like the best team in the league. However, a regular-season loss to the Ravens and some uninspiring playoff victories have forced me to lose trust in Kyle Shanahan's team. On the other hand, the Chiefs, fresh off a drubbing of the Ravens, look like they can beat anyone. Momentum is with Kansas City, and I think they'll give the Swifties something new to celebrate.
