New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara's name has been a topic of discussion recently as he has missed several consecutive days of practice.
According to ESPN.com's Josina Anderson, the Saints are now open to trading Kamara.

Kamara, a Pro Bowler in all three seasons of his career, has 4,476 career scrimmage yards and 37 touchdowns on 728 chances (rushes and receptions). He's missed just three games, appearing in 45 contests while starting 25.
A valuable dual-threat back in an electric New Orleans system, Kamara is currently disgruntled due to a contract dispute with the Saints. This news comes on the heels of fellow running back Joe Mixon signing a four-year, $48 million extension with the Cincinnati Bengals.
There has been some speculation that the Saints could claim recently-released running back Leonard Fournette, though acquiring him and his $4.2 million salary to replace Kamara is a peculiar decision and a clear downgrade at the position.
Kamara, a former third-round pick, is owed $2.13 million in the final year of his contract after earning a total of $2.88 million over the past three seasons. The Saints, meanwhile, have $3.25 million in cap space as of right now with little resources to spend on new contracts.
