Fantasy Football Winners and Losers: Week 14

Week 14 of the 2021 NFL season is in the books. For the majority of the league, Tuesday morning brings a whole new week of football and preparing for their next game. However, a handful of players might not want to leave Week 14 so soon. Here's a look at who impressed and who underachieved in fantasy football this week. All point totals are based on PPR scoring.
Quarterback
Winner:
(39.22 FPTS)
Although Aaron Rodgers outplayed Allen from a real-life perspective, the latter had the edge in fantasy formats thanks to his rushing ability. When all was said and done, the Bills' signal-caller completed 36 passes for 308 yards, two touchdowns, and a pick. He also totaled 109 rushing yards and a touchdown, but it came at a cost. Allen was seen in a walking boot after the game, leaving his Week 15 status uncertain.
Loser:

None of the quarterbacks this week completely flopped, but Prescott was definitely a disappointment. Despite having one of the best receiving cores in the leagues, Prescott accrued just 211 passing yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. This could be a recurring issue considering Dallas' reliance on the run game. Still, Prescott is a mid-range QB1 against the Giants next week.
Running Back
Winner:

Cook missed one game and then came back to the tune of 222 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns. This had massive playoff implications for fantasy managers who opposed Cook—or worse, left him on their bench. The Vikings' running back is a high-end RB1, as always.
Loser:
(0.4 FPTS)
Robinson is the Jaguars' only hope when it comes to winning, yet the team has allowed him to rush just 12 times for 28 yards over his last two games. He also has 12 receiving yards and a lost fumble during this span. Due to Urban Meyer's incompetence, Robinson has fallen to the mid-range RB3 tier and is no longer a must-start.
Wide Receiver
Winner:

Adams exploded on Sunday night, catching 10 passes for 121 yards and a pair of scores. Just like in years prior, the 28-year-old has been an elite wideout, ranking third among receivers in PPR. He gets a juicy matchup against the Ravens in Week 15.
Loser:
(2.9 FPTS)
Mooney underwhelmed in Justin Fields' first week back, catching just one of five targets for 19 yards through the air. He should bounce back in some fashion, but between Allen Robinson returning and Cole Kmet and David Montgomery retaining large roles in the offense, he's no longer in the low-end WR2 range. Fantasy managers should view him as a mid-range WR3.
Tight End
Winner:

Kittle was otherworldly once again this week, catching 13 passes for 151 yards and a touchdown. He has totaled 332 yards, three touchdowns, and a whopping 73.7 fantasy points over his last two games alone. His biggest effort on Sunday just might have moved him up to
the
TE1 overall, replacing Travis Kelce.
Loser:

Prescott's quiet day translated to his pass-catchers. Specifically, Schultz hauled in just one of three targets for four yards. He has just two double-digit fantasy performances over his last seven games and is no longer in the must-start conversation. Fantasy managers invested in Schultz might want to peruse the waiver wire.
Defense
Winner: Kansas City Chiefs (25.0 FPTS)
Remember when this unit was described as one of the worst defenses of the century? Yeah, they totaled four fumble recoveries, one interception, one touchdown, and just nine points allowed against the Raiders this week. The unit has come on incredibly strong as of late and is a top-10 unit over the rest of the season despite meeting the Chargers in Week 15.
Loser: Houston Texans (-6.0 FPTS)
Week 14 felt like a get-right game for the Seahawks. Indeed, it was. Houston allowed Seattle to drop 33 points and 453 yards on them. They failed to record a turnover. At the same time, this was their first game without a sack all season long. Yikes.
