The Halos fired Billy Eppler at the conclusion of the season, leaving a vacancy that provides intrigue for prospective candidates. The Angels are expected to take their time and be patient as they conduct a thorough search for their next top exec.

While his new title has not been announced, the more pressing matter is the new vacancy in Philadelphia. Various analysts in the industry have suggested Philadelphia could be an intriguing landing spot for various New York Yankees execs.

Cincinnati Reds | Vice President of Baseball Operations
Dick Williams resigned from his role as Vice President of Baseball Operations with the Reds. Williams, who cited his growing passion around his family business as the reason why he stepped down from his baseball, leaves behind a very appealing position in Cincinnati. The Reds are expected to be patient in their search and will explore a blend of both internal and external candidates.

Miami Marlins | Vice President of Baseball Operations
Somewhat surprisingly, Miami parted ways with Michael Hill this offseason. Marlins majority owner Bruce Sherman and CEO Derek Jeter entered talks with Hill surrounding a new contract but ultimately agreed to go in a new direction. While Hill has been an impactful part of Miami baseball, this decision could be one of the biggest moves the team is making to inflict a sense of new beginning. After all, Sherman and Jeter orchestrated a very significant shakeup when they gained ownership of the team, but they did hold on to Hill.
